Evershield Foundation Spreads Love and Hope to Orphans

Sunday, March 9, 2025

The Evershield Foundation remains steadfast in its mission to uplift and support the most vulnerable in our society. On Sunday, March 9, 2025, the Foundation extended a hand of love and care to the Chosen Children’s Home in Darkuman, Accra. This heartfelt outreach was led by our esteemed CEO, Nana Abena Amoakohene Kissi, alongside a dedicated team including Dr. Emmanuel Kwame Agyare, Head of Health & Wellness; Ms. Stephanie Sarpong, Head of Operations; and Apostle Joseph Allotey, Advisor on Values & Community Well-being.

The team presented a generous donation of essential supplies aimed at meeting the daily needs of the children, which included cooking oil, tin tomatoes, rice, tin fish, toiletries, mineral drinks, and mineral water. The kind donation was warmly received by the management of Chosen Children’s Home, who expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Evershield Foundation for their support, acknowledging that these contributions would go a long way in meeting the needs of the children and creating a nurturing environment for their growth and well-being.

While these physical gifts were vital, the heart of the visit extended beyond material support. It was a time to share love, encouragement, and hope — a reminder to the children that they are seen, valued, and never alone. In her remarks, Nana Abena Amoakohene Kissi emphasized the importance of nurturing kindness in young hearts, stating, “Kindness is a seed we plant in the hearts of these young ones, and with love and support, they will grow into strong, confident individuals.”

At Evershield Foundation, we firmly believe in building a future where children, women, the aged, and people with special needs have the resources and support they need to thrive. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our team and all the compassionate supporters whose generosity makes these initiatives possible. Your kindness fuels our mission and empowers us to touch more lives.
